I just came back from Batam (Indonesia) yesterday evening. We took off to Batam on Saturday morning, we took a 1hr ferry trip to Batam. We searched for the tour guide when we reached Batam and boarded the bus.
A picture I took when i was on the Ferry.We proceeded to the Miniature Park, showing lots of cute and mini house found in Indonesia.
Here's a slide show.After that we proceeded to alot of places, including the go cart.It was a very hot day so I didnt want to get on the go-cart ride.
Im not in the pictures.Then,we visited the Local Dry Market which obviously sold fresh food that were dry.
We had our lunch provided at the Golden Prawn 555 Seafood Kelong Restaurant.Guess what's on the menu? SEAFOOD! My favourite. Chilli crabs,GongGongs,Fried Onion and more were served! Yummy-licious!
After our scrumptious lunch,we went to the Golden Tourist Shop.
Kuda Lumping Cultural Dance was the next stop. This was where we were entertained by local villagers with their traditional trance dance. One of the performances was an act of eating smashed glass.I could hear the man chomping the glass away. Some audiences were given glass pieces to hand it to the man.
They made their living by collecting tips after the performance.We even played Billard. :)))
